Huawei is at IFA 2015 today, tipped to launch the new Mate S. With the Huawei Watch and new Nexus 6 also tucked away in its new product drawer, we're excited to hear what it has to say at its IFA 2015 press conference. Here's how to tune in live and watch the Huawei IFA 2015 live stream. Also see: What to expect from IFA 2015.

Huawei's IFA 2015 press conference will be held at 1.30pm UK time (2.30pm CEST) today, Wednesday 2 September. We'll have a reporter live at the event to bring you all the latest product news, plus a live stream of the press conference on this very page. You can also check Huawei's YouTube channel for product announcements.

Update 13:47pm: We were expecting a Huawei live stream to begin at 1.30pm, but one has not materialised. The closest we can get right now is live updates from Huawei's Twitter page. We also have a reporter at the event at this very moment and will be bringing you more information on new Huawei products within the next few hours.

We can tell you Huawei has announced the new Mate S aluminium-body phone, a phablet that's 2.65mm thick at the edges with a 5.5in full-HD display. We'll have a hands-on review up of the Mate S asap. Huawei has also announced pricing and availability for the Huawei Watch, which you can read about here, and check out our Huawei Watch review. Huawei has also unveiled its new Fashion Touches Technology website for more details on the Huawei Mate S and Huawei Watch.

What to expect from Huawei at IFA 2015: The sure thing - New Mate S

Rumours circulating on the web suggest Huawei will use its IFA 2015 press conference to unveil the new Huawei Mate S smartphone. Details of the Mate S are thin on the ground, but thanks to @evleaks we know what not to expect: it won't have the touted Force Touch feature, and it won't belong to the D series.

That does seem to go against the slogan on Huawei's own IFA micro-site, however, which states "IFA is the world's leading trade show for consumer electronics. Pay close attention to Huawei! Let's see how Huawei unleashes the potential of human touch!"

From leaked images the new Mate S appears to be a phablet with a full metal body and rear fingerprint scanner. Other rumoured specifications include a 5.7in full-HD display, a Kirin 935 octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM and a 13Mp camera.

As well as the Mate S it's thought that Huawei could unveil a smaller version of the phone with a 4.7in screen.

What to expect from Huawei at IFA 2015: The possibility - Huawei Watch

We've already seen the Huawei Watch at MWC 2015, but it's taken so long for this gorgeous smartwatch to make it to market that many people are speculating that we could see a Huawei Watch relaunch or at least the announcement of availability details at IFA 2015. If it means we can buy the Huawei Watch sometime soon then we're all for it. Also see: Huawei Watch UK release date, price and specification rumours.

What to expect from Huawei at IFA 2015: The outside bet - Huawei Nexus 6

We love the Huawei Watch and we're quite excited about the new Mate S, but what we really want to know more about is the new Nexus 6, which will be made by Huawei. We aren't expecting Android 6.0 Marshmallow and the LG Nexus 5 to launch until the middle of next month, however, and we doubt Google would let Huawei steal its thunder. But our reporters will be closely examining any smartphones seen carried by Huawei execs at IFA 2015.
