The Superbowl for 2015 has been decided and will see the New England Patriots take on the Seattle Seahawks at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona. If you, for whatever reason, can’t simply watch Superbowl 2015 (XLIX) on regular TV there’s no need to worry. There are various options available to you which mean you can watch on your smartphone, tablet, laptop, PC and other devices (for free).

Note that the game is scheduled to kick off at 23:30pm UK time on 1 February so get the caffeine ready along with some food to keep you going into the night. How to watch the Superbowl 2015 online: Channel 4 online

The easiest way to watch this year’s NFL Superbowl is to head to the Channel 4 website where you can get a live stream of the broadcaster’s coverage. This is available in web browsers but it’s worth pointing out that the 4OD app doesn't offer live programming (see below if you want to watch on a mobile device). Channel 4’s Superbowl show will begin at 22:30pm.

How to watch the Superbowl 2015 online: TVCatchup

If you want to watch Channel 4’s coverage but want to use a mobile device rather than a desktop web browser then you can’t use the 4OD app. However, TVCatchup does include Channel 4 so you can watch this way.

How to watch the Superbowl 2015 online: Sky Go/Now TV

IF you’re a Sky customer with sports channels then you can use Sky Go to watch live coverage of the Superbowl. The Sky Go app is available on various devices. See also: How to use Sky Go on Android.

If you’re not a Sky customer then don’t worry because you can get Sky Sports coverage with Now TV which is also available on a large range of devices or simply a web browser. You’ll need to buy a Sky Sports Day pass for £6.99 on the day of the Superbowl.

Sky will be providing coverage of Superbowl 2015 on Sky Sports 3 and will start a week of related coverage on 26 January from 6am.

How to watch the Superbowl 2015 online: GamePass

If none of the above options take your fancy then you can use the official NFL GamePass to watch the Superbowl this year. However, if you don’t already have a subscription which includes the Superbowl, you’ll need to pay £29.99 for Season Plus making it a pretty pricey way of watching one game - although it does mean you can replay games from the regular season, playoffs and previous years.
